Choosing the right size saves you money. Here’s what typically fits in each of our units in Perth, Ontario.
5×10 storage unit: about the size of a large closet
Holds the contents of a studio or one-bedroom apartment: a mattress set, dresser, small couch, boxes and seasonal items. Good for decluttering or storing a student’s belongings over the summer. 5×10 heated storage, $130/month.
10×10 storage unit: half a one-car garage
Our most popular size. Fits about two bedrooms: two queen beds with mattresses, a dining or living room set, large appliances, bikes and boxes. Available heated ($195/month) or drive-up ($115/month). The drive-up 10×10 also suits motorcycles, Sea-Doos and snowmobiles.
15×10 storage unit: slightly smaller than a one-car garage
Fits about three furnished bedrooms or the contents of a small house. A good choice during a move or a major renovation. 15×10 heated storage, $234/month.
20×10 storage unit: a full one-car garage
Our largest unit. Fits up to four bedrooms of furniture plus the living room, patio furniture and appliances. 20×10 heated storage, $260/month.
Packing tips to fit more
- Use same-size boxes so they stack evenly.
- Put heavy items and furniture at the back, and things you’ll need at the front.
- Stand mattresses and sofas on end, and take legs off tables.
- Leave a narrow aisle so you can reach everything.
